Spirit

I am grounded in the seat of Black imagination.

I’m trained as an epidemiologist, mathematician, and meditation guide. I was born a conscious creator and spiritual leader. I know how to observe challenges and identify strategies to solve problems. I am here to build experiences, brands, and leaders that center relationships, Spirit, and imagination. I’m the visionary’s most trusted strategist, conscious collaborator, and powerful prayer partner.

After 10 years at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention working in nutrition, physical activity, and obesity, I launched the Imagine Me Free (IMF), a well being advisory and boutique human-centered design firm. I worked with non profit and organizations such as Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and GirlTrek to develop strategies to improve the physical, mental, and emotional well being of communities, specifically Black women and girls, impacted by racism and trauma.

Meanwhile, back at home, I was holding wine tastings after bible studies, hosting weekly family dinners for anyone willing to taste my new dish, and building my own brand, Love over Logic, a bridal makeup studio in Atlanta. I learned how to create authentic human connection over food+wine and meaningful moments that stay with you for a lifetime. I learned every guest experience is a spiritual one, strong brands center an intentional relationships, and transformational leadership requires mindful and conscious awareness.

With over 15 years of professional experience, the stars aligned in Biddeford, Maine and my gifts of centering human connection and imagination, building strong brands, and curating meaningful guest experiences co created the celebrated cocktail bar and restaurant, Magnus on Water. While at Magnus, I led the radical rebuilding of hospitality culture in a post-pandemic world for our small team. As I become a conscious leader valuing belonging, rest, and Mother Earth so do others. It’s the small moves that shift the collective. I don’t it alone. None of us do.

I work with and for people who value Black imagination, women, and lives. I lead multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns to benefit Black women. I serve on the Board of Trustees for Spelman College. I practice yoga nidra and meet with my mental and spiritual health practitioners weekly. I connect humans to meaningful moments and their most desired experiences. I’m a designer, conscious collaborator, and creative strategist. I do a lot of things…and I’m good at most of them.
